Alexandra and Dillon Crippen are the siblings behind the design at Crippen Design.
Alex started her first company, Panoramic Artistry LLC, in 2009 offering graphic design, photography, and web development services while attending high school. In 2009, Alex also founded a non-profit organization and continues to volunteer time to the organization. Alex has since graduated from the Computer Programming degree program at Lane Community College receiving an Associate of Applied Science degree. Alex has received numerous awards for her efforts including Oregon’s NFIB Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, the International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association’s Youth of the Year, the Jesse Applegate Scholarship Award, and the Creswell Education Foundation Scholarship Award.
Dillon began freelance graphic design work when he was 16. What began as a hobby turned into a passion. Since then, he has gone on to graduate from the University of Oregon with a major in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration. He continued his graphic design work through college, teaming up with Alex on freelance contract jobs until the two decided to begin Crippen Design together. Dillon started CD Originals as a small creative outlet, combining his love for the outdoors and his passion for graphic design. That small project has since blossomed into a popular Pacific Northwest brand, attracting over 1,000 sales in just a year. In his spare time, Dillon hikes all over Oregon. Last year he reached famous summits such as South Sister and Broken Top in Central Oregon.
